– Grit 1000 has smaller grain for achieving a finer sharpening of the cutting edge. This side should be used after the knife has already been sharpened with the grit 400.

This diamond whetstone comes with a plastic base in black colour. The base has non-slip feet to ensure safety avoiding that your whetstone moves while you sharpen your knives. In addition, the whetstone has hollow cavities to collect metal chippings that are left behind when you sharpen your knives.
